Housing Information
The military provides two options for the use of your Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH)
The first option is living on post. Your second option is using your BAH to rent or buy a home off post. We provide you with military friendly information to help you maximize your BAH.

• The Housing Management Office (210) 295-8539/8564/8569/8635. Contact the HMO as soon as you know you are moving. You will be provided with the latest information on local housing as well as referral services and relocation assistance. They offer counseling and guidance before entering into a lease agreement and help resolve tenant-landlord disputes.

• The Unaccompanied Housing Office (210) 221-0190/2087 - Brenner Barracks; (210) 916-1134/1156 - Okubo Barracks; or (210) 221-2087 - NCO Barracks. Unaccompanied housing is reserved for Single Soldiers with a pay grade of E5 or below.

• Fort Sam-Houston on-post housing is privatized and managed by Lincoln Military Housing (210) 270-7638, which offers 9 communities based on pay grade and family size. The housing options range from 2-5 bedroom townhomes and single family residences. Community amenities include: pool, fitness center, playgrounds and more.
